The Plot Thins...

The usual official apology, in the craven, sweating hope that they don't get sued.

Which they absolutely still should be.

Like I said before, I'm not normally one to favour litigation as the go-to for legitimate redress --that way lies the cesspit of America-- but these things exist as legal options for a reason. And this kind of bullying leaves its marks long after the actual action has ended..

Do these craven pro formae from smugly self-satisfied douchebags ever actually mean anything?

Pathetic, and all too pathetically typical.

Yes, I listened to the taped interview.  I guess she was still rather young to know what she should have done.  First thing I would have said upon entering the room and seeing THREE inquisitors; and that is exactly what it was, an Inquisition, would be to tell them that I would be happy to speak with any one of them separately but not together as an Inquisition.  Then I would have walked out.  She made several blunders but still did reasonably well being blindsided as she was.  I mark it up to inexperience and hopefully she has listened to the tape and learned from her mistakes.

One should never have to gird as if for war in a bloody university. Especially that young.

But hey, soon the death of net neutrality will render all this...errmmm...well...academic. They'll decide what you can see and thus mould how you think.

Left, right, doesn't matter --ultimate power at that level, to that depth, is apolitical.
